Grievance Chairs It can be alarming to feel that your rights in the TAWC/WCUSD Contract have somehow been violated. Rest assured that there is a process, spelled out in that same contract, by which you can get the situation investigated. First, you should contact your site representative. Together you and the rep might be able to resolve the situation with your school administrator on an informal basis. If this does not bring resolution to the matter, you may contact your grade level grievance person below. Be aware that for the grievance person to help you, the situation has to be in violation of Contract. That means that some part of the Contract has been broken or not adhered to in your complaint. Once you have contacted the grievance person, he/she will lead you through the grievance process. There is a strict timeline of steps that the grievance person must follow in any contract situation. **Matters of concern that do not involve the Contract can possibly be handled by working with your site rep, sharing with your co-workers or by talking with your administrator. You may also contact the TAWC office for further suggestions and guidance. E-mail TAWC Office |
