             TAWC INVOLVEMENT

               Teachers and counselors deserve:

  •          good working conditions

  •             reasonable compensation

  •             decent health care benefits

  •             the opportunity to pursue excellence in the classroom

  •             support in times of conflict or misunderstanding        

 

Did you know that ALL TAWC reps, officers, executive board members etc... are full time teachers and counselors like yourself?  

 

Our Association is growing very STRONG because more and more of our educators are donating a little of their time to help TAWC in different ways.     Look below to see how you can help in small ways...

 

 

    Be on a committee  Many of our committees only meet a few times a year.  Call us if you would like to be involved.

 

    Attend a Rep Council Meeting Come and add your input to our association.  Our Rep Council Meetings are held at a different school each month in order to be more convenient and to encourage our members to attend.  Find out what is going on by attending a one.  Click here for a list of meeting dates and places:  Meetings

 

    Run for School Site Representative(s) at your school -  It is an interesting position you can share with someone else or be an alternate!  We have new By-Laws that encourage 1 rep for every 15 members or so at a site.
