The Peer Assistance and Review Committee (PAR) is made up of both district administrators and TAWC teachers.  Teachers are elected to serve on the PAR Committee by a vote of TAWC members.  There are four teachers on the PAR Committee representing the interests of high school, middle school, upper elementary and lower elementary.

The PAR Committee's main job is to provide peer support and assistance to any experienced teacher referred to this same committee by a school site administrator because of an "unsatisfactory" evaluation.  This committee also selects and assigns qualified "support teachers" to any teacher referred to PAR in an effort to facilitate said teacher in building strategies and skills to be more successful in the classroom.
